Chirping in the air, the smell of the fresh rain mixed with the earthy smell of dirt and grass. These are nostalgic senses I remember fondly. Moving to a city from nothing but farmland has brought my attention to the impact humans make on the earth. The summers getting hotter and longer while the snow getting shorter and less these are all examples of our greediness. Dystopian Future is a live installation that starts the conversation of our greediness and the affect it has on our home, our earth. With the sound of familiar nature sounds that are somehow haunting to hear while seeing the death of a nature symbol that you cannot help. Staring into their eyes, seeing the tears from the smoke, looking down to the dirt garden filled with trash and a plant dying of lack of care and nutrient. A chain reaction you can't change because it is too late.
